Upgrade

When a new version of the highdra CLI is released, you might want to (and are encouraged to) upgrade to the latest version.

Note

If you have installed the highdra CLI with any other method than described in the installation guide, the steps described here might not apply to you.

The tool will check for updates once a day1 and display a message if a newer version is available:

PS C:\Users\lasse> highdra arm checkout

  ╭─ highdra v0.2.0 available ──────────────────────────────────╮

You are running v0.1.0, but a newer version is available.
Run uv tool upgrade highdra to update.

As mentioned above, upgrading the highdra tool is as simple as running a single command:

uv tool upgrade highdra
uv tool upgrade highdra

Once that command has completed, you have the latest version of the highdra CLI installed 🎉
